Irakliy Kerzhakov came out of the goal and Vitaliy Mironov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Sutton in Ashfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Filimon Gorshkov came free, but Taras Kulalaev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Taras Kulalaev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aleksandr Dmitriev's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Taras Kulalaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksandr Dmitriev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Aleksey Stukalov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitaliy Mironov struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Irakliy Kerzhakov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sutton in Ashfield AFC. Vitaliy Mironov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Irakliy Kerzhakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, FC Borz's goalkeeper Irakliy Kerzhakov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksey Stukalov. When Vladimir Shilovskiy fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sutton in Ashfield AFC's protests and gave Vladimir Shilovskiy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Sutton in Ashfield AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Shilovskiy to maneuver through the defense. FC Borz's Aleksandr Dmitriev managed to work through Sutton in Ashfield AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aleksandr Dmitriev dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Aleksey Stukalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Aleksandr Dmitriev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Taras Kulalaev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Taras Kulalaev managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when FC Borz's Aleksandr Dmitriev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Aleksey Stukalov came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Sutton in Ashfield AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksey Stukalov couldn't finish the play. FC Borz's Irakliy Kerzhakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitaliy Mironov in the 67th minute of play. Aleksey Stukalov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irakliy Kerzhakov having to interfere. Irakliy Kerzhakov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Mironov in the 71st minute of the match. If Aleksey Stukalov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitaliy Mironov struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Vitaliy Mironov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sutton in Ashfield AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Borz for a fine match.
