Aleksandr Mishin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 15 minutes on the clock, Gleb Sytnikov commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Portreath:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Speed&Goal:s goal. When Martyn Zaletin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Portreath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martyn Zaletin couldn't finish the play. Ilya Dvinyatin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonid Azanov's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Martyn Zaletin struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Denis Eroshkin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portreath. After a defensive mix-up in Speed&Goal's zone, Vladislav Drannikov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Eroshkin came out of the goal and Vladislav Drannikov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonid Azanov in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilya Dvinyatin saved Portreath from getting behind. Ilya Dvinyatin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Azanov in the 93rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonid Azanov in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilya Dvinyatin saved Portreath from getting behind. Speed&Goal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
