The Skyfire FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Elin should have stopped the shot. Efim Airapetyan kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Gusev in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irakliy Kerzhakov saved FC Borz from getting behind. A collision led to FC Borz getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Filimon Gorshkov hit a great ball. Irakliy Kerzhakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gusev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evgeniy Borkovskiy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 41st minute. Skyfire FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, FC Borz's Irakliy Kerzhakov got control of the ball when Evgeniy Borkovskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filimon Gorshkov to make the kick off. Albert Gusev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksey Bunich took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Irakliy Kerzhakov. FC Borz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Borz's Irakliy Kerzhakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Gusev in the 65th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Stepan Bauman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Borz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skyfire FC the free kick.
