A hard shot 22 in the game by Timofey Geraschenko from a close distance when the talented Aleksey Nikitin managed to make a qualified save. Great Baddow FC's players were relieved. After 22 minutes, Timofey Geraschenko made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Great Baddow FC's Aleksey Nikitin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 28th minute of the match Eduard Domaradskiy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Akinfeev skillfully saved the ball. Anton Tretyakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Tretyakov in the 33rd minute of play forced Cowley's goalkeeper Rafael Akinfeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruslan Sidorov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irakliy Korogod hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Aleksey Nikitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Dymov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Akinfeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Tretyakov in the 40th minute of play. Aleksey Nikitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruslan Sidorov in the 42nd minute. If Anton Tretyakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Tretyakov to make the kick off. Timofey Geraschenko, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 68 minutes of play, Cowley's Ruslan Sidorov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aleksey Nikitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Tretyakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Dymov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Nikitin having to interfere. Anton Tretyakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rafael Akinfeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Great Baddow FC's Konstantin Gritsan got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute Pavel Dymov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Nikitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timofey Geraschenko was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Vitaliy Kirichkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anton Tretyakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Rafael Akinfeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Cowley got a freekick which was hit by Aleksey Grin. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cowley fans cheered their team off the field, for while Great Baddow FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
