Konstantin Handirov's late challenge caught a Burnley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Rudolf Klyuchevskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiy Mishulin was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Vitold Bondarev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiy Mishulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Burnley's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Handirov came free, but Emmanuil Dobrolyubskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuil Dobrolyubskiy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Veniamin Abuhov in the 30th minute. Burnley's Emmanuil Dobrolyubskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Burnley from getting a goal against them. Konstantin Handirov got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 35th minute, Konstantin Handirov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georgiy Laevskiy hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Burnley's zone, Veniamin Abuhov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuil Dobrolyubskiy came out of the goal and Veniamin Abuhov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rudolf Klyuchevskiy was the one to do the kick off. Veniamin Abuhov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emmanuil Dobrolyubskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Albert Beinenson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burnley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hampton in Arden AFC the free kick. The supporters of Hampton in Arden AFC booed when Burnley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Beinenson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th of the match, Vitold Bondarev tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Arkadiy Mishulin got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 76 minutes, Rodion Filippov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hampton in Arden AFC and the Burnley players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arkadiy Mishulin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolf Klyuchevskiy in the 82nd minute. Veniamin Abuhov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Burnley's zone, Maksimilian Ezin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmanuil Dobrolyubskiy came out of the goal and Maksimilian Ezin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Veniamin Abuhov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emmanuil Dobrolyubskiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.
