Vladislav Panferov might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oleg Tomin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Katyushin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Oleg Tomin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Platon Galkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oleg Tomin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Pavel Nikonov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Tomin having to interfere. Oleg Tomin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladislav Panferov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Vladislav Tsvetkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Tomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladislav Tsvetkov made a kick off. Saryarka United's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladislav Panferov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oleg Tomin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Saryarka United getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Platon Galkin hit a great ball. The supporters of Saryarka United booed when FC Golf GTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donat Lepyavka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Vladislav Panferov managed to get in a good position for a shot.
