Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stepan Silyanov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute Stepan Silyanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Karamanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Timur Kakhovkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Launceston AFC's Oskar Karamanov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stepan Silyanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oskar Karamanov having to make a save. After 14 played minutes Launceston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Evgeniy Sokolov. Oskar Karamanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Kakhovkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ivan Politov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oleg Vorobiev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Ashburton got a freekick which was hit by Dmitriy Telnov. The supporters of Launceston AFC booed when Ashburton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dmitriy Telnov didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Danil Ermakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th match minute, Ashburton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Tsapelik to maneuver through the defense. Danil Ermakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ashburton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Politov in the 34th minute of play forced Ashburton's goalkeeper Oleg Vorobiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dmitriy Telnov kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ashburton's Oleg Vorobiev got control of the ball when Danil Ermakov tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Ivan Politov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Oleg Vorobiev. Ashburton's Oleg Vorobiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Politov in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Politov to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Afanasiy Soloviev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ashburton defense, Ivan Politov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oleg Vorobiev. The Ashburton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oleg Vorobiev should have stopped the shot. Danil Ermakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Oleg Vorobiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Ivan Politov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Launceston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Politov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danil Ermakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Oleg Vorobiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashburton's goalkeeper Oleg Vorobiev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Afanasiy Soloviev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Politov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Vorobiev having to interfere. Oleg Vorobiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danil Ermakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Ashburton's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Politov came free, but Oleg Vorobiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislav Ryabov kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Dmitriy Shubin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Launceston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dmitriy Shubin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oleg Vorobiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Politov in the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Politov in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oleg Vorobiev saved Ashburton from getting behind. When Ashburton's Stepan Silyanov in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Launceston AFC's goalie prevented a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Launceston AFC fully deserved thier win.
