Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ashburton's Stepan Silyanov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Timur Kakhovkin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Oleg Vorobiev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Ashburton's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Churzin came free, but Oleg Vorobiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Evgeniy Kazenin managed to get in a good position for a shot. A collision led to Crediton City getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Kirill Golubkin hit a great ball. The supporters of Ashburton booed when Crediton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kirill Golubkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Stepan Churzin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Vorobiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evgeniy Kazenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Oleg Vorobiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stepan Churzin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oleg Vorobiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evgeniy Kazenin in the 60th minute of the match. Oleg Vorobiev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stepan Churzin, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Evgeniy Kazenin got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Oleg Vorobiev was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Stepan Churzin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stepan Silyanov came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ashburton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stepan Silyanov couldn't finish the play. Oleg Vorobiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stepan Churzin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arseniy Semak charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arseniy Semak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arseniy Semak kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Crediton City players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
