Oswaldtwistle AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zahar Babkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Gerasimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Oswaldtwistle AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Danila Smolkin hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes Oswaldtwistle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Dikikh. Filipp Kononenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gennadiy Yablonskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipp Kononenko in the 32nd minute of play. Ivan Gerasimov came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Oswaldtwistle AFC's Zahar Babkin. But to his dismay, Zahar Babkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 39 minutes, Semen Grabovyi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashton-in-Makerfield FC and the Oswaldtwistle AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Danila Smolkin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivan Gerasimov. Ashton-in-Makerfield FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Zahar Babkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oswaldtwistle AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zahar Babkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Gerasimov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46thth minute of the game Filimon Kaziev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashton-in-Makerfield FC's Ivan Gerasimov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filipp Kononenko made a kick off. Rafael Morgunov kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ashton-in-Makerfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zahar Babkin came free, but Ivan Gerasimov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gennadiy Yablonskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipp Kononenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ashton-in-Makerfield FC booed when Oswaldtwistle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Dikikh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Filimon Kaziev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oswaldtwistle AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filimon Kaziev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filimon Kaziev kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Zahar Babkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oswaldtwistle AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zahar Babkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Filipp Kononenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 90th minute Filipp Kononenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gennadiy Yablonskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Semen Gordeev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gennadiy Yablonskiy was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. When Semen Gordeev came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ashton-in-Makerfield FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semen Gordeev couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Ivan Gerasimov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ashton-in-Makerfield FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oswaldtwistle AFC for a fine match.
