Cottingham City's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Zabegalin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Gutsaev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vladimir Zabegalin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Strelkov took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Gutsaev. Ivan Gutsaev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 19th minute, Filipp Plehov made a precise shot to the right of Egor Akbulatov. Cottingham City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 24 played minutes Vladimir Zabegalin rounded Bollington United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Ivan Gutsaev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruslan Strelkov in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruslan Strelkov in the 32nd minute of play forced Bollington United's goalkeeper Ivan Gutsaev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimir Zabegalin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Gutsaev having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Bollington United's zone, Ruslan Strelkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Gutsaev came out of the goal and Ruslan Strelkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Gutsaev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Solomonov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bollington United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Yakov Chizhev hit a great ball. Filipp Plehov kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The corner ended in Vladimir Zabegalin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bollington United's Ivan Gutsaev did a great save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bollington United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cottingham City.
