Oswaldtwistle AFC's Aleksandr Dikikh got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Zahar Babkin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of East Dulwich's Oskar Gordeev. Oskar Gordeev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of East Dulwich booed when Oswaldtwistle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestr Lepetuhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikhail Miheev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Gennadiy Yablonskiy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Oswaldtwistle AFC's Zahar Babkin in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye East Dulwich's goalie prevented a goal. East Dulwich's Oskar Gordeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filimon Kaziev in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Oswaldtwistle AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestr Lepetuhin to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Oswaldtwistle AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Aleksandr Dikikh hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikhail Miheev got free with Gennadiy Yablonskiy in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dmitriy Borodyuk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gennadiy Yablonskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Dmitriy Borodyuk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gennadiy Yablonskiy. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 42nd minute, East Dulwich's Dmitriy Borodyuk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Zahar Babkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Gordeev having to interfere. If Zahar Babkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dmitriy Borodyuk to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Oswaldtwistle AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksandr Dikikh to maneuver through the defense. Daniil Orekhov charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniil Orekhov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Zahar Babkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oswaldtwistle AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zahar Babkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Gordeev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dmitriy Borodyuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gennadiy Yablonskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filimon Kaziev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Gordeev having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Zahar Babkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Dulwich's Oskar Gordeev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Oskar Gordeev managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Oswaldtwistle AFC's Filimon Kaziev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zahar Babkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Oskar Gordeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Silvestr Lepetuhin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oswaldtwistle AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestr Lepetuhin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oskar Gordeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zahar Babkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mikhail Miheev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gennadiy Yablonskiy having to make a save. Zahar Babkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Oskar Gordeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswaldtwistle AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
