A wasted opportunity for Whitton City. 21 minutes into the match, Dmitriy Cherchesov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Skipton AFC's Vladimir Fundaminskiy. Vladimir Fundaminskiy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Evgeniy Rodionov fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whitton City's protests and gave Evgeniy Rodionov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Evgeniy Rodionov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donat Fominov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimir Fundaminskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Cherchesov, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience was convinced that Evgeniy Rodionov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Fundaminskiy was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. If Donat Fominov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Dmitriy Cherchesov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skipton AFC's Vladimir Fundaminskiy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Egor Chernov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 49 minutes, Donat Fominov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donat Fominov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Albert Nizovkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skipton AFC's Vladimir Fundaminskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donat Fominov in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniil Dubnitskiy in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Fernandez saved Whitton City from getting behind. Vitinho Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniil Dubnitskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Mark Berloga hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Dmitriy Cherchesov kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 65thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Skipton AFC's keeper Vladimir Fundaminskiy was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Dmitriy Cherchesov came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Whitton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmitriy Cherchesov couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes of play, Whitton City's Egor Chernov made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladimir Fundaminskiy was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Daniil Dubnitskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skipton AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donat Fominov 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Dmitriy Cherchesov might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladimir Fundaminskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dmitriy Cherchesov ran back to his position shaking his head. Vladimir Fundaminskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dmitriy Cherchesov in the 94th minute of the match. Egor Chernovs short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Vladimir Fundaminskiy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the final whistle sounded Whitton City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Skipton AFC.
