Andrey Shubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Estavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Estavan in the 45th minute of play forced Ullesthorpe FC's goalkeeper Andrey Shubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timofey Korolev to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Timofey Korolev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Innokentiy Blyakhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrey Shubin came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by St Helens's Iván Sotomayor. But to his dismay, Iván Sotomayor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Iván Sotomayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Shubin having to interfere. Oleg Abramson's late challenge caught a St Helens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oleg Abramson helped the player get up and apologised. Oleg Abramson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Iván Sotomayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ullesthorpe FC defense, Iván Sotomayor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrey Shubin. The Ullesthorpe FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrey Shubin should have stopped the shot. Nereo Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Ullesthorpe FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of St Helens:s goal. Innokentiy Blyakhin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arkadiy Frolovskiy in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ullesthorpe FC's zone, Nereo Estavan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrey Shubin came out of the goal and Nereo Estavan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andrey Shubin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when St Helens's Nereo Estavan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. There was no doubt that St Helens were the better team. St Helens's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
