Ashton Under Hill
Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arkadiy Arshenevskiy took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Arkadiy Arshenevskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gleb Kudryavtsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vadim Rozhkov took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksey Khokhlov. Aleksey Khokhlov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vadim Rozhkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Khokhlov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergey Dorofeev in the 11th minute of play forced Ashton Under Hill United's goalkeeper Aleksey Khokhlov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sergey Dorofeev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Great Ayton AFC's Gennadiy Azovskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Vadim Rozhkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Khokhlov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leonid Kazachkov came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Great Ayton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonid Kazachkov couldn't finish the play. Vadim Rozhkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aleksey Khokhlov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Kazachkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Sergey Dorofeev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleksey Khokhlov. Ashton Under Hill United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergey Dorofeev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 31st minute Sergey Dorofeev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Khokhlov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gleb Kudryavtsev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Abashidze in the 33rd minute. Great Ayton AFC's Vadim Rozhkov got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonid Kazachkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Khokhlov having to interfere. Arkadiy Arshenevskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gleb Kudryavtsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Great Ayton AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vadim Rozhkov to strike the kick off in the second half. Vadim Rozhkov hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Leonid Kazachkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vadim Rozhkov in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksey Khokhlov saved Ashton Under Hill United from getting behind. In the 59th minute Arkadiy Arshenevskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gleb Kudryavtsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Leonid Kazachkov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksey Khokhlov. Leonid Kazachkov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. The supporters of Great Ayton AFC booed when Ashton Under Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinoviy Dubinin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Great Ayton AFC's zone, Semen Babkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gleb Kudryavtsev came out of the goal and Semen Babkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vadim Rozhkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Aleksey Khokhlov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Sergey Dorofeev dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aleksey Khokhlov, 0-5. The attack was good, but when Leonid Kazachkov in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rustam Chemodanov kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Vadim Rozhkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashton Under Hill United's Aleksey Khokhlov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Andrey Abashidze notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Great Ayton AFC's Gleb Kudryavtsev. Gleb Kudryavtsev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergey Dorofeev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aleksey Khokhlov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Great Ayton AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
