Stanislav Migulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aleksandr Kirichenko went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, Moreton United's goal looked a bit too open when Aleksandr Kirichenko came free, but Stanislav Migulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasiliy Maltsev struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Petr Tochilin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreton United. Pavel Volochkov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislav Migulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksandr Kirichenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Stanislav Migulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vadim Gnezditskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pavel Volochkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maksim Larionov's late challenge caught a Moreton United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maksim Larionov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Flushing getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Maksim Larionov hit a great ball. Moreton United's Oleg Ermakov got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pavel Volochkovs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Petr Tochilin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Petr Tochilin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petr Chervitskiy in the 33rd minute. Petr Tochilin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Volochkov in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Flushing's goalkeeper Petr Tochilin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petr Chervitskiy. Anatoliy Luchanskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Pavel Volochkov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Petr Tochilin, passed just outside the right post. Flushing's Maksim Larionov got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Maksim Larionov off the ground. In the 41st match minute, Flushing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maksim Larionov to maneuver through the defense. Petr Chervitskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Petr Tochilin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Moreton United's Vasiliy Maltsev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petr Tochilin. Petr Tochilin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Viktor Alferov charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Alferov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 53 minutes into the game, one of Moreton United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Flushing. Sergey Semenenko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Stanislav Migulin. 1-2. 58 minutes into the match, Aleksandr Kirichenko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stanislav Migulin, 1-3. Zinoviy Abaidulin struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Stanislav Migulin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flushing. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Zinoviy Abaidulin sped through Moreton United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stanislav Migulin. The supporters of Moreton United booed when Flushing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Gusev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petr Tochilin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonid Nikolenko in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Oleg Ermakov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moreton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oleg Ermakov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikita Chelkov kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Vadim Gnezditskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flushing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moreton United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Flushing's Vadim Gnezditskiy got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Flushing defense, Oleg Ermakov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Tochilin. The Flushing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Tochilin should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Flushing got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Gusev. 95 minutes into the match, Flushing's goal looked a bit too open when Vasiliy Maltsev came free, but Petr Tochilin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flushing's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
