The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Robin van Persie made a precise shot to the right of Vladislav Barantsov. Kairat MZFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 14 played minutes Kairat MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Moreno. With a little luck, Kairat MZFC's Vladislav Barantsov got control of the ball when Robin van Persie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladislav Barantsov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaljo Püss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, Kairat MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute of the match, Robin van Persie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vladislav Barantsov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Kairat MZFC's Edmund Ochylski got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 32 played minutes Kairat MZFC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Berenguer. Vladislav Barantsov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin van Persie in the 34th minute of the match. Vladislav Barantsov had great luck who in the 34thth minute grab hold of the ball when Robin van Persie from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Kaisar Astana's Robin van Persie was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kaljo Püss succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 41st playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaljo Püss got free with Vladislav Barantsov in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin van Persie to make the kick off. After 52nd play minutes Cruz Viana shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Vladislav Barantsov and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Kairat MZFC defense, Kaljo Püss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladislav Barantsov. The Kairat MZFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladislav Barantsov should have stopped the shot. In the 63rdth minute of the game Robin van Persie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kairat MZFC's Vladislav Barantsov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robin van Persie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltasar Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladislav Barantsov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin van Persie went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Marvin Ancheta notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Kairat MZFC's Vladislav Barantsov. Vladislav Barantsov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pirooz Rahimi during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Pirooz Rahimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes of play Kairat MZFC's Pirooz Rahimi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Kairat MZFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Pirooz Rahimi hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robin van Persie in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladislav Barantsov saved Kairat MZFC from getting behind. The Kaisar Astana fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Kaisar Astana's Robin van Persie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kaisar Astana fully deserved thier win.
