Dinamo Almaty:s Altuğ Vefi showed great skill when he stopped Aleksandr Martynov:s penalty. When Dmitriy Lepeshkevich came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Dinamo Almaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dmitriy Lepeshkevich couldn't finish the play. Gerasim Kotov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute, Petr Zakharov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerasim Kotov. The goal made the score 1-8. Gerasim Kotov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petr Zakharov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerasim Kotov made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Enzo Gar sent off a good shot on target. Dmitriy Lepeshkevich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Kotov having to interfere. If Olivier Rast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
