The crowd rose to their feet as Roman Belyavskiy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afşar Uzgoren. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Vladislav Apostolov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladislav Apostolov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestrs Sildegs came free, but Afşar Uzgoren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when FC Turan Turkestan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Belyavskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimir Alferov took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Hidalgo. Jonathan Hidalgo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. FC Turan Turkestan's Jonathan Hidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Alferov in the 27th minute of play. Jonathan Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Alferov, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Alferov in the 31st minute of play forced FC Turan Turkestan's goalkeeper Jonathan Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Belyavskiy in the 37th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Afşar Uzgoren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Silvestrs Sildegs could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Afşar Uzgoren however easily saved by the left post. Jonathan Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kryspin Kasprzykowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd minute, Kryspin Kasprzykowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Afşar Uzgoren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berk Ozaner in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Galatasaray were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Konstantin Fryazin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Turan Turkestan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray the free kick. Galatasaray's Arkadiusz Wawrukiewicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gökhan Keskin in the 55 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Petr Blokhin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Afşar Uzgoren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berk Ozaner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Hidalgo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vladimir Alferov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, FC Turan Turkestan's goalkeeper Jonathan Hidalgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Alferov. If Vladislav Apostolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Silvestrs Sildegs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afşar Uzgoren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galatasaray's Vladimir Alferov got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vladislav Apostolov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, FC Turan Turkestan's goalkeeper Jonathan Hidalgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimir Alferov. 96 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Berk Ozaner came free, but Afşar Uzgoren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Turan Turkestan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galatasaray were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
