Robin van Persie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Zülfikar Neyzen made a huge save. In the 19thth minute of the game Robin van Persie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Caspiy's Zülfikar Neyzen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Henri Thomasse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Robin van Persie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zülfikar Neyzen. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Henri Thomasse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC Caspiy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half FC Caspiy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henri Thomasse was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Henri Thomasse managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Caspiy's supporters rose to their feet, but Henri Thomasse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fulgencio Tolino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, FC Caspiy's Henri Thomasse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Tolino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Henri Thomasse recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Tolino. FC Caspiy's Zülfikar Neyzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaljo Püss in the 63rd minute of play.
