Mark Van De Broeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Kugotov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Ayrton Schumacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Van De Broeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Van De Broeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Milla in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ayrton Schumacher got free with Mark Van De Broeck in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Mark Van De Broeck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save GÓRNIK ZABRZE from getting a goal against them. After 18 minutes of play, Shymkent Camels's Vladimir Kugotov made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Van De Broeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Shymkent Camels's Horacio Zarricueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoliy Guschin in the 21st minute of play. Mark Van De Broeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayrton Schumacher in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Kugotov in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Van De Broeck saved GÓRNIK ZABRZE from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Shymkent Camels's Jiang Cheng Peng slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mark Van De Broeck. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Sebastian Millas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Mark Van De Broeck to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mark Van De Broeck made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Sebastian Milla sent off a good shot on target. The Shymkent Camels fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Shymkent Camels's Sebastian Milla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 34 minutes into the match, GÓRNIK ZABRZE's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang Cheng Peng came free, but Mark Van De Broeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes GÓRNIK ZABRZE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boris Lindqvist who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Boris Lindqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mark Van De Broeck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiang Cheng Peng got free with Mark Van De Broeck in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ayrton Schumacher received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mark Van De Broeck came out and tried to block the shot, but Ayrton Schumacher slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Mark Van De Broeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayrton Schumacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute, Gendo Sinuhaji hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márton Irmai in the 59th minute of play forced Shymkent Camels's goalkeeper Horacio Zarricueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, GÓRNIK ZABRZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Walentowicz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Shymkent Camels booed when GÓRNIK ZABRZE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gendo Sinuhaji didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Anatoliy Guschin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Shymkent Camels players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
