In the 12th minute, Fedor Kabanov made a precise shot to the right of David Bolotov. Scarborough City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Fedor Kabanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Bolotov having to make a save. If Fedor Kabanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matvey Tomilin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scarborough City's protests and gave Matvey Tomilin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sefton AFC booed when Scarborough City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matvey Tomilin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sefton AFC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Sefton AFC's Vadim Borovikovskiy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25th minute, German Shashkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scarborough City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Scarborough City's Filimon Ershov got a free kick in the 27th minute. David Bolotov came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Sefton AFC's Fedor Kabanov. But to his dismay, Fedor Kabanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Filimon Ershov might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filimon Adabashyan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filimon Ershov ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute, Pavel Belyakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Viktor Skorospelov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scarborough City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sefton AFC the free kick. 41 minutes into the game, one of Scarborough City:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 47 minutes into the match, Sefton AFC's Vadim Borovikovskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Bolotov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fedor Kabanov made a kick off. Fedor Kabanov struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. David Bolotov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sefton AFC. Vadim Borovikovskiy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but David Bolotov made a huge save. When Arkadiy Gluhov came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Scarborough City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiy Gluhov couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sefton AFC's Anatoliy Kugel got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Scarborough City's Viktor Skorospelov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 65th minute, German Shashkov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If German Shashkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sefton AFC's zone, German Shashkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filimon Adabashyan came out of the goal and German Shashkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vadim Borovikovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Bolotov having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Fedor Kabanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by German Shashkov in the 92nd minute of play forced Sefton AFC's goalkeeper Filimon Adabashyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
