Evgeniy Marusin got in the 4th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gennadiy Vorobiev handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Irakliy Voroshilov charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irakliy Voroshilov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ickenham's Irakliy Voroshilov got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, North Petherton City's Vladimir Voronov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gennadiy Vorobiev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Vladimir Voronov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gennadiy Vorobiev having to interfere. When North Petherton City's Vladimir Voronov in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ickenham's goalie prevented a goal. Evgeniy Marusin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gennadiy Vorobiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st of the match, Vladimir Voronov tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gennadiy Vorobiev got in the way and made a wonderful save. Evgeniy Marusin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gennadiy Vorobiev having to interfere. Leonard Gavrilyuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Nesterov in the 36th minute of the match. Gennadiy Vorobiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Voronov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Evgeniy Marusin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Voronov struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Gennadiy Vorobiev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Petherton City. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gennadiy Vorobiev came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by North Petherton City's Vladimir Voronov. But to his dismay, Vladimir Voronov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Ickenham getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Petr Kupreev hit a great ball. Ickenham's Gennadiy Vorobiev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Voronov in the 68th minute of play. Ickenham's Andrey Nesterov got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evgeniy Marusin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gennadiy Vorobiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ickenham's zone, Vasiliy Safonov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gennadiy Vorobiev came out of the goal and Vasiliy Safonov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th match minute, Ickenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Potap Fedorov to maneuver through the defense. Vladimir Voronov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evgeniy Marusin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gennadiy Vorobiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gennadiy Vorobiev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Yakhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Ickenham's Andrey Nesterov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 96th minute, Evgeniy Marusin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, North Petherton City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
