After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ernest Dukalskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Dukalskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladislav Krylenkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oles Chicherov to make the kick off. If Denis Pozharov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valeriy Domnitskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Denis Pozharov might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladislav Krylenkov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
