The audience thought a goal was coming when Maksim Kalinin got free with Nikita Gafurov in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Mikhail Kazakov got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vasiliy Rudenskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Melentiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Oleg Skorikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oleg Skorikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Oleg Skorikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasiliy Rudenskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Melentiy to strike the kick off in the second half. Oleg Skorikov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Vasiliy Rudenskiy made a huge save. Oleg Skorikov came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vasiliy Rudenskiy could save by the left post. Maksim Kalinin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute.
