Ippolit Ladygin made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Ruslan Blinov sent off a good shot on target. Mark Grishkevich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ippolit Ladygin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Egor Svetlanov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Rostislav Ugolnikov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aleksandr Prudkovskiy having to make a save. After some careless play in the Huyton AFC defense, Danil Palubov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksandr Prudkovskiy. The Huyton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksandr Prudkovskiy should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Huyton AFC booed when Wellesbourne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilya Timohin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ippolit Ladygin came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Huyton AFC's Nikolay Shestakov. But to his dismay, Nikolay Shestakov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Mark Grishkevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mark Grishkevich's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Ippolit Ladygin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Rostislav Ugolnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruslan Blinov hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danil Palubov in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleksandr Prudkovskiy saved Huyton AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rostislav Ugolnikov in the 41st minute of play forced Huyton AFC's goalkeeper Aleksandr Prudkovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Veniamin Ashimov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Danil Palubov made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Wellesbourne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egor Pleve to maneuver through the defense. Nikolay Shestakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ippolit Ladygin having to interfere. Rostislav Ugolnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egor Pleve hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The Huyton AFC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Huyton AFC's Nikolay Shestakov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Veniamin Ashimov hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ippolit Ladygin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikolay Shestakov in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Huyton AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dmitriy Gulevich hit a great ball. 79 minutes in the game, Rostislav Ugolnikov fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Aleksandr Prudkovskiy having to interfere. Rostislav Ugolnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rostislav Ugolnikov struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Aleksandr Prudkovskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wellesbourne. Danil Palubov might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksandr Prudkovskiy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danil Palubov ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rostislav Ugolnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Huyton AFC's Ruslan Blinov got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match Eduard Obolskiy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aleksandr Prudkovskiy skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilya Timohin during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Wellesbourne got a freekick which was hit by Ilya Timohin. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huyton AFC had won after a very even match.
