Spectators: 9198 (Terracing: 6900, Seating: 2115, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Grishkevich started the match with the kick off. Eldar Bestemyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Aleksandr Prudkovskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vladimir Baranov came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Prudhoe AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimir Baranov couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Eldar Bestemyanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aleksandr Prudkovskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksandr Marmazov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Prudhoe AFC's Aleksandr Marmazov in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huyton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Aleksandr Prudkovskiy came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Prudhoe AFC's Eldar Bestemyanov. But to his dismay, Eldar Bestemyanov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eldar Bestemyanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aleksandr Prudkovskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Huyton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Sleptsov to maneuver through the defense. Aleksandr Prudkovskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksandr Marmazov in the 42nd minute of play. The Huyton AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Prudhoe AFC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aleksandr Marmazov to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Vasiliy Bolotov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudhoe AFC's Denis Dumchenko shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aleksandr Prudkovskiy but with some difficulty. Mark Grishkevich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Mark Grishkevich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Poluhin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Aleksandr Marmazov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aleksandr Prudkovskiy. Aleksandr Marmazov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Mark Grishkevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Veniamin Poluhin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Nikolay Shestakov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huyton AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Veniamin Poluhin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolay Shestakov in the 88th minute of the match. If Aleksandr Marmazov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute of the match, Aleksandr Marmazov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksandr Prudkovskiy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eldar Bestemyanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Prudhoe AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
