Spectators: 9400 (Terracing: 7050, Seating: 2162, VIP seats: 188) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Lobanov started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vasiliy Kovalevskiy during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Vasiliy Kovalevskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Golyakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Lobanov struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Dida Da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Dereham City. Dida Da Silva made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Igor Lobanov sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, East Dereham City's goal looked a bit too open when Vasiliy Kovalevskiy came free, but Prokl Kuzmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Lobanov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Dida Da Silva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dida Da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Lobanov in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Igor Lobanov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dida Da Silva. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Valeriy Frankovskiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hook's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriy Frankovskiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prokl Kuzmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasiliy Kovalevskiy was the one to do the kick off. Igor Lobanov struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Dida Da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for East Dereham City. After a rather tough play, East Dereham City's Velimir Bezukhov got a free kick in the 56th minute. Prokl Kuzmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasiliy Kovalevskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 67 played minutes Valeriy Frankovskiy rounded East Dereham City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After a rather tough play, Hook's Valeriy Raschepkin got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Velimir Bezukhov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute Igor Lobanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladislav Averchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Prokl Kuzmin made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Vasiliy Kovalevskiy sent off a good shot on target. After 95 played minutes East Dereham City got a freekick which was hit by Igor Lobanov. Hook's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because East Dereham City had won, even though Hook had held more of the ball.
