Spectators: 10629 (Terracing: 8000, Seating: 2412, VIP seats: 217) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Samuil Kanavskiy kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipp Pereletov in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Da Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hook's Vasiliy Kovalevskiy in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westcliff on Sea's goalie prevented a goal. Vitaliy Subbotin hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Samuil Kanavskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Da Silva was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th match minute, Westcliff on Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Lepihin to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Roman Efimenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hook's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westcliff on Sea the free kick. A collision led to Hook getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Roman Efimenko hit a great ball. Filipp Pereletov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipp Pereletov in the 18th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hook's Vasiliy Kovalevskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irakliy Ozhogin. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Hook's Vasiliy Kovalevskiy got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Roman Golyakov fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Irakliy Ozhogin, passed just outside the right post. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vasiliy Kovalevskiy sped through Westcliff on Sea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Irakliy Ozhogin. 31 minutes into the match, Westcliff on Sea's goalkeeper Irakliy Ozhogin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasiliy Kovalevskiy. When Filipp Pereletov came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Westcliff on Sea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipp Pereletov couldn't finish the play. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hook! Dida Da Silva had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Valentin Lepihin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuil Kanavskiy in the 42nd minute of play forced Hook's goalkeeper Dida Da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Hook's goal looked a bit too open when Samuil Kanavskiy came free, but Dida Da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valeriy Frankovskiy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valeriy Frankovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hook's Dida Da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuil Kanavskiy in the 55th minute of play. Dida Da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuil Kanavskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valeriy Frankovskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anatoliy Zhiganov took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irakliy Ozhogin. Irakliy Ozhogin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Valeriy Frankovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Irakliy Ozhogin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Roman Golyakov came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Hook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Golyakov couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Westcliff on Sea's Vitaliy Subbotin got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Westcliff on Sea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuil Kanavskiy to maneuver through the defense. Irakliy Ozhogin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriy Frankovskiy in the 83rd minute of the match. If Anatoliy Zhiganov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Valentin Lepihin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irakliy Ozhogin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Golyakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Valeriy Frankovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Hook were the better team. Hook's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
