Spectators: 8021 (Terracing: 6421, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rod England took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Huey Broom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 9 minutes, Marc Monk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muktijoddha Sangsad KC and the Alveley United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rod England in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickey Bartlett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Graham Skinner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Russ Love in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Marc Monk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graham Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rod England blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mickey Bartlett having to make a save. Mickey Bartlett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rod England's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Verne Messenger charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Verne Messenger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rod England sped through Muktijoddha Sangsad KC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mickey Bartlett. In the 27th minute Junior Blowman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Graham Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Alveley United fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Alveley United's Rod England looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 34 minutes into the match, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC's goal looked a bit too open when Rod England came free, but Mickey Bartlett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Bordon in the 36th minute of play forced Muktijoddha Sangsad KC's goalkeeper Mickey Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Rod England managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alveley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod England was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mickey Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Graham Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Monk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verne Messenger got free with Graham Skinner in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rod England sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amedeo Bordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Bartlett having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Junior Blowman to make the kick off. Graham Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Monk in the 53rd minute of play. Mickey Bartlett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rod England went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the match, Rod England had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickey Bartlett. Muktijoddha Sangsad KC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rod England was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Mickey Bartlett made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Rod England sent off a good shot on target. Muktijoddha Sangsad KC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Rod England scored to the left of an out of position Mickey Bartlett, making the score, 1-6. 73 minutes into the match, Alveley United's Sebastien Willetts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mickey Bartlett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Alveley United booed when Muktijoddha Sangsad KC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Monk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rod England did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Mickey Bartlett 76 minutes into the match. Alveley United's Rod England got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Rod England managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alveley United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod England was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mickey Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Mickey Bartlett managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Alveley United's Rod England fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Alveley United's Mickey Bartlett threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rod England, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 97 minutes into the game, Rod England lined in a short shot 1-8 behind a frustrated Mickey Bartlett. When the final whistle sounded Alveley United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Muktijoddha Sangsad KC.
