After a rather tough play, Beckton's Rupert Warburton got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ricky Oldham hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Ricky Oldham made the kick off in the second half. Nigel Hodgson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. In the 65th minute Clive Bowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Frampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Andrew Howard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Les Gibbs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Toby Harland fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castletown's protests and gave Toby Harland a yellow card for diving instead.
