Vincent Frampton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, one of Swanmore:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Terry Tipton shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 31st minute, Ricky Oldham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes, Shaun Batty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swanmore and the Castletown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Swanmore got a freekick which was hit by Shaun Batty. With a little luck, Castletown's Vincent Frampton got control of the ball when Danny Beerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Phillip Butcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Frampton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Beerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Danny Beerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Sid Osborn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Swanmore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castletown the free kick. In the 82nd minute Sid Osborn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Frampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Watson came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Castletown's Andrew Howard. But to his dismay, Andrew Howard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Swanmore were furious when Shaun Batty was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Swanmore fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Vincent Frampton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny Beerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
