Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tristan Southgate took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Darren Pennant could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Bob Aldridge however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Sheerness FC's zone, Miles Ripley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bob Aldridge came out of the goal and Miles Ripley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, Sheerness FC's Alfred Broadhurst nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alastair Hartley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tristan Southgate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bob Aldridge having to interfere. Alastair Hartley came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheerness FC's Karl Argent. But to his dismay, Karl Argent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Uffington getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Perry Dewhirst hit a great ball. Joshua Faith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Alastair Hartley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Matt McCormick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sheerness FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt McCormick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alastair Hartley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl Argent struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Alastair Hartley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheerness FC. Rod Joy kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Miles Ripley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bob Aldridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alastair Hartley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Broadhurst, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ruben Brownings short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Bob Aldridge to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joshua Faith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alastair Hartley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Aldridge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darren Pennant in the 44th minute. Alastair Hartley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Argent in the 45th minute of play. Joshua Faith might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alastair Hartley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joshua Faith ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl Argent was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Sheerness FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miles Ripley came free, but Bob Aldridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sheerness FC defense, Darren Pennant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bob Aldridge. The Sheerness FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bob Aldridge should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Matt McCormick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alfred Broadhurst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Faith struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alastair Hartley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheerness FC. With a little luck, Uffington's Alastair Hartley got control of the ball when Karl Argent tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Sheerness FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Southgate came free, but Bob Aldridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Thorne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Alastair Hartley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Alfred Broadhurst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alastair Hartley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Broadhurst in the 73rd minute of play forced Uffington's goalkeeper Alastair Hartley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sheerness FC's Karl Argent got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bob Aldridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Browning in the 79th minute of play. Matt McCormick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl Argent struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Alastair Hartley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sheerness FC. Sheerness FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
