Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Caleb Prior made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damon Moyse got free with Greg Paine in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Caleb Prior's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spike Collier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Pennant during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Walmley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Pennant. Spike Collier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Blackburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ludlow FC's Danny Sledge got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Walmley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Sledge came free, but Greg Paine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damon Moyse during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ludlow FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Damon Moyse hit a great ball. After 28 minutes of play, Ludlow FC's Damon Moyse made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greg Paine was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ludlow FC's Stephen Partridge in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walmley AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Partridge in the 37th minute of play forced Walmley AFC's goalkeeper Greg Paine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damon Moyse struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Greg Paine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ludlow FC. Stephen Partridge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Greg Paine came out and tried to block the shot, but Stephen Partridge slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. Ludlow FC's Stephen Partridge got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stephen Partridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Stephen Partridge took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Greg Paine to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Damon Moyse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Walmley AFC's Andre Greaves got a free kick in the 56th minute. Stephen Partridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Paine having to interfere. Damon Moyse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spike Collier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodd Downes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Will Culverhouse hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Danny Sledge fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ludlow FC's protests and gave Danny Sledge a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes Ludlow FC got a freekick which was hit by Danny Sledge. When Damon Moyse came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ludlow FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damon Moyse couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Walmley AFC's Caleb Prior ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Spike Collier. Spike Collier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. After 84 minutes of play Ludlow FC's Danny Sledge was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Danny Sledge hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Damon Moyse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damon Moyse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Paine having to interfere. Stephen Partridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ludlow FC's Damon Moyse in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walmley AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Stephen Partridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludlow FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
