Ty Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walmley AFC. After having played for 31 minutes, Joel Blackburn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walmley AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Blackburn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hunstanton City's Ty Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Hunstanton City from getting a goal against them. When Robin Butt came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Hunstanton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Butt couldn't finish the play. When Damion Allott fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walmley AFC's protests and gave Damion Allott a yellow card for diving instead. 41 minutes into the match, Walmley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie Lane came free, but Greg Paine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hunstanton City's Ty Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caleb Prior in the 43rd minute of play. Ty Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caleb Prior, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 45th minute, Caleb Prior ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ty Price was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reggie Lane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tim Watts charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Watts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reggie Lane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Paine having to interfere. In the 87th minute Caleb Prior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hunstanton City getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Marty Haley hit a great ball. Hunstanton City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
