Tristan York kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Darren Pennant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. Sean Bolton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tristan Southgate went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Ruben Browning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Howard Horseman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Uffington's Alastair Hartley. Alastair Hartley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Barka in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alastair Hartley saved Uffington from getting behind. Sean Bolton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Pennant in the 37th minute of play. When Ruben Browning fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uffington's protests and gave Ruben Browning a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Browning hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Liverpool FC's Sean Bolton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Pennant in the 44th minute of play. Tristan Southgate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Sean Bolton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tristan Southgate to make the kick off. Uffington's Alastair Hartley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Flintoff in the 58th minute of play. Sean Bolton made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Darren Pennant sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Samuel Flintoff during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Darren Pennant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sean Bolton. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sean Bolton should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, one of Uffington:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Liverpool FC a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leif Barka, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uffington's Alastair Hartley. 5-4. Liverpool FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
