In the 36th minute, 尤朋鸿 made a precise shot to the right of Victor Rooney. West Rainton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After the first half Sleaford were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Townson made a kick off. 尤朋鸿 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, West Rainton's goal looked a bit too open when 尤朋鸿 came free, but Victor Rooney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Çağrı Bozlak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 尤朋鸿 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Rooney having to interfere.
