Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caleb Prior kicked off to start the match. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Jermaine Crowther successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Greg Paine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Forrest in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ivan Blackley notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Walmley AFC's Greg Paine. Greg Paine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Joel Blackburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greg Paine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Blackley in the 23rd minute of play. Greg Paine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Blackley in the 25th minute of the match. Jermaine Crowther showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caleb Prior, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Greg Paine came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hucknall's Ivan Blackley. But to his dismay, Ivan Blackley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ivan Blackley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th match minute, Hucknall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cliff Mortlock to maneuver through the defense. Hucknall's Jermaine Crowther proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Hucknall from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Gordon Forrest made the kick off in the second half. If Gordon Forrest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Ivan Blackley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greg Paine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Walmley AFC booed when Hucknall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Plumber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hucknall's Jermaine Crowther played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Blackburn in the 62nd minute of play. Caleb Prior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jermaine Crowther tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Walmley AFC's Joel Blackburn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jermaine Crowther narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Hucknall's Gordon Forrest in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Walmley AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Blackburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jermaine Crowther having to interfere. The audience held their breath when Damion Allott in the 84th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jermaine Crowther's left hand side. Caleb Prior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calvin Nicholls hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Joel Blackburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Caleb Prior left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Walmley AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The supporters of Walmley AFC booed when Hucknall was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jermaine Lineker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jermaine Crowther came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Walmley AFC's Joel Blackburn. But to his dismay, Joel Blackburn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Hucknall supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hucknall would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
