Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Billy Eastwood started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Joel Blackburn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Hyde got free with Greg Paine in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Ross Hay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bedlington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Walmley AFC the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Bedlington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ross Hay to maneuver through the defense. When Walmley AFC's Joel Blackburn in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bedlington's goalie prevented a goal. Greg Paine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billy Eastwood in the 15th minute of the match. Bedlington's Jimmy Flack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Blackburn in the 18th minute of play. Spike Corby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Greg Paine made a huge save. In the 22nd match minute, Bedlington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ross Hay to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match Romeo Rotherfield sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmy Flack skillfully saved the ball. When Damion Allott fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Walmley AFC's protests and gave Damion Allott a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Damion Allott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Billy Eastwood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Greg Paine. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. If Billy Eastwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spike Corby struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Greg Paine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bedlington. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Hay in the 39th minute of play forced Walmley AFC's goalkeeper Greg Paine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Billy Eastwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Paine having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Billy Eastwood dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Greg Paine, 2-0. Jimmy Flack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caleb Prior, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caleb Prior to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Walmley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Eastwood came free, but Greg Paine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spike Corby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Paine having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Walmley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Eastwood came free, but Greg Paine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Bedlington's Spike Corby made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greg Paine was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Spike Corby came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Bedlington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spike Corby couldn't finish the play. Greg Paine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spike Corby in the 79th minute of play. Caleb Prior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Billy Eastwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billy Eastwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spike Corby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Paine having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spike Corby in the 92nd minute of play forced Walmley AFC's goalkeeper Greg Paine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spike Corby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greg Paine having to make a save. There was no doubt that Bedlington were the better team. Bedlington's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
