Howard Horseman charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Rhys Stone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan York hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Çağrı Bozlak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Liverpool FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bartlomiej Zecman 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Sleaford's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Barka came free, but Sammy Mortimer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sammy Mortimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Barka, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Bartlomiej Zecman made a precise shot to the right of Sean Bolton. Liverpool FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 尤朋鸿's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sean Bolton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 71st minute, Leif Barka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Sleaford's goalkeeper Sammy Mortimer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Howard Horseman. Sammy Mortimer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Barka in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Liverpool FC were awarded a corner. Leif Barka went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Leif Barka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sammy Mortimer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 85th minute of the match Tristan York shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sammy Mortimer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sammy Mortimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Flintoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. There was no doubt that Sleaford were the better team. Sleaford's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
