After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Alistair Brown managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howden's supporters rose to their feet, but Alistair Brown was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Bannister breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CJ Beverley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Will Glasby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Southeast Coast FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by CJ Beverley to maneuver through the defense. Deon Blakeley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Joseph Bannister when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Southeast Coast FC's Joseph Bannister got control of the ball when Deon Blakeley tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Joseph Bannister showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deon Blakeley, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58thth minute of the game Deon Blakeley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southeast Coast FC's Joseph Bannister was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deon Blakeley in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseph Bannister prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the game, CJ Beverley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southeast Coast FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Howden the free kick. CJ Beverley kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Deon Blakeley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deon Blakeley in the 69th minute of play forced Southeast Coast FC's goalkeeper Joseph Bannister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steve Blakeley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Howden's Alistair Brown got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Tommy Byfield made a precise shot to the right of Joseph Bannister.
