Dylan Markham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Forrester in the 19th minute of play. Allan Rawlings showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Warne, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ryan Warne made the kick off in the second half. Rackenford AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Ryan Warne scored to the left of an out of position Allan Rawlings, making the score, 0-1. In the 61st minute, Jacob Forrester left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rackenford AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 66 minutes into the match, Rackenford AFC's goalkeeper Allan Rawlings had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cody Dove. Cody Dove in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Allan Rawlings, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 70th minute Jacob Forrester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Markham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Garry Borrowdale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dylan Markham was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ronny McGrath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
