That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Downham Market AFC's goalkeeper Jake Plummer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregory Fox. 2-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Nigel Cawood elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nigel Cawood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Gregory Fox had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jake Plummer. Downham Market AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregory Fox was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 37th minute, Tettenhall United's Nigel Cawood dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The supporters of Downham Market AFC booed when Tettenhall United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Bannister didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Tettenhall United's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Ellerby came free, but Robin Pitts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Henry Ellerby made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Andy Downham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tettenhall United and the Downham Market AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Tettenhall United got a freekick which was hit by Andy Downham. Ricky Bannister hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Downham Market AFC's Henry Ellerby got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rueben Hales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Pitts having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Tettenhall United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rueben Hales fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jake Plummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Fox in the 62nd minute of play. Jake Plummer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Tettenhall United's Gregory Fox shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 67 minutes, Rueben Hales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Downham Market AFC and the Tettenhall United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jake Plummer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nigel Cawood's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Rueben Hales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Pitts having to interfere. Gregory Fox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97th minute, Nigel Cawood ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jake Plummer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0.
