After some careless play in the Arsenal Football Club defense, Deon Blakeley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ged Waddington. The Arsenal Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ged Waddington should have stopped the shot. Tommy Byfield took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ged Waddington. Ged Waddington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Ged Waddington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Byfield in the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Tommy Byfield had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ged Waddington. Arsenal Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tommy Byfield was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. If Kyle Alsop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Marc Crowther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ged Waddington stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Byfield's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deon Blakeley in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ged Waddington prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Alsop was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Arsenal Football Club booed when Howden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Crowther didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Tommy Byfield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ged Waddington was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Tommy Byfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ged Waddington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deon Blakeley in the 62nd minute. Tommy Byfield who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Ged Waddington when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 68th match minute, Howden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Crowther to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Kyle Alsop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Alsop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Callum Couzens kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Howden got a corner. Arsenal Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Syd Wicks ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deon Blakeley scored 0-6 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ged Waddington, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ged Waddington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Byfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Tommy Byfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ged Waddington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Tommy Byfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Howden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Byfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Deon Blakeley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ged Waddington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes in the game, Tommy Byfield fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ged Waddington having to interfere. Howden played a much better game than Arsenal Football Club and deserved their victory. The Arsenal Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
