The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dylan Markham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Haskell in the 10th minute of the match. If Jerome Pascoe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny McGrath was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Denis Brooks was a little too slow when Ricky Kirkpatrick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. Dylan Markham came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Syleth Stars's William Haskell. But to his dismay, William Haskell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Jerome Pascoe fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Syleth Stars's protests and gave Jerome Pascoe a yellow card for diving instead. Jerome Pascoe hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Wally Farmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Syleth Stars and the BEŞİKTAŞ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 30 minutes into the game, one of Syleth Stars:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rufus Mortlock during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rufus Mortlock hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, William Haskell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Syleth Stars's Denis Brooks proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Syleth Stars from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Syleth Stars's Abraham Ackroyd got a free kick in the 37th minute. Jerome Pascoe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerome Pascoe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dylan Markham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Gascoigne came free, but Dylan Markham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Ryan Warne made the kick off in the second half. Dylan Markham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donny Potterton in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind BEŞİKTAŞ FC's goalkeeper Dylan Markham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Haskell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dylan Markham having to make a save. 61 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Haskell came free, but Dylan Markham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, William Haskell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, William Haskell took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Dylan Markham to make any attempt to save it. Dylan Markham came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Syleth Stars's Vernon Kent. But to his dismay, Vernon Kent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vernon Kent got free with Dylan Markham in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Syleth Stars's Jerome Pascoe got a free kick in the 97th minute. Syleth Stars's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
