Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dan Bean got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Tod Brazier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dan Bean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Bean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Dave Oates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Osborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bashundhara Kings Footbal's Aquilino Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tod Brazier in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, Withington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Millman to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Dan Bean notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Withington United's Ralf Osborn. Ralf Osborn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Tod Brazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jay Rockett made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bashundhara Kings Footbal's John Naylor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvester Colton in the 24th minute of play forced Bashundhara Kings Footbal's goalkeeper Aquilino Jobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Jobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tod Brazier in the 27th minute. Ralf Osborn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Kürten, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute, Matthew Wall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Dave Oates ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Osborn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Bashundhara Kings Footbal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl Bromley to make the kick off. Withington United's Ralf Osborn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Withington United from getting a goal against them. Aquilino Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Bromley in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Dave Oates had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Osborn. Withington United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Oates was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Tod Brazier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Withington United's Dan Rider got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ralf Osborn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Oates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Withington United's Karl Bromley in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bashundhara Kings Footbal's goalie prevented a goal. Withington United's Ralf Osborn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Withington United from getting a goal against them. Bashundhara Kings Footbal's Aquilino Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Bromley in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Bashundhara Kings Footbal's Dan Bean made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Osborn was left in no man's land by his defense there! John Naylor kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Silvester Colton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Aquilino Jobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Withington United booed when Bashundhara Kings Footbal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glyn Rush didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bashundhara Kings Footbal getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. John Naylor hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tod Brazier in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Jobo saved Bashundhara Kings Footbal from getting behind. Tod Brazier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
