Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rhys Deacon got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Laycock in the 3rd minute of play forced Withington United's goalkeeper Ralf Osborn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Withington United's Ralf Osborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Deacon in the 5th minute of play. Rhys Deacon succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Bill Almond charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bill Almond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Bill Almond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodney Pickard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Ralf Osborn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Laycock in the 15th minute of play forced Withington United's goalkeeper Ralf Osborn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Withington United's Ralf Osborn got control of the ball when Denis Byfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Caversham booed when Withington United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Poynton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralf Osborn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Ralf Osborn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Laycock, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Pierre Laycock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ralf Osborn made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Pierre Laycock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Osborn. Withington United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pierre Laycock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Edward Poynton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Withington United's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Poynton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Ainsworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvester Colton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Withington United's Ralf Osborn got control of the ball when Pierre Laycock tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ralf Osborn made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Rodney Pickard sent off a good shot on target. Ralf Osborn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Byfield in the 39th minute of play. Ralf Osborn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Byfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Withington United's Ralf Osborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rhys Deacon in the 41st minute of play. Ralf Osborn came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Caversham's Rodney Pickard. But to his dismay, Rodney Pickard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl Bromley to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Withington United's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Pickard came free, but Ralf Osborn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Rhys Deacon made a precise shot to the right of Ralf Osborn. Withington United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Rhys Deacon sped through Withington United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf Osborn. In the 62nd minute, Rodney Pickard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Osborn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Ralf Osborn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Pickard in the 67th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Withington United's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Pickard came free, but Ralf Osborn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Caversham's Pierre Laycock made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Osborn was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, Pierre Laycock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Ralf Osborn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralf Osborn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Pickard in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Rhys Deacon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Osborn. Withington United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rhys Deacon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Ralf Osborn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Deacon in the 86th minute of the match. If Tod Brazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Pierre Laycock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Osborn was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. The audience was convinced that Pierre Laycock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ralf Osborn was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Caversham players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
