The referee ignored TROYA CF's protests and gave Spyros Vlassiadis a yellow card for diving instead. Toby Steadman's late challenge caught a TROYA CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Peter Shepherd sped through TROYA CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Nash. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andy Coulthard during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Peter Shepherd made the kick off in the second half. Jeff Gray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Pilarski in the 76th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Benedykt Pilarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Gray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, TROYA CF's Ruben Sharpe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeff Gray made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Bangladesh Football made a substitution. Camron Darnbrooke replaced Toby Steadman. Ruben Sharpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steve Lister kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bangladesh Football eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
