Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeo Ur started the match with the kick off. Karl Bromley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Zachary Skwira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. STEEL SPORT CLUB's Zachary Skwira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Bromley in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, STEEL SPORT CLUB's Alex Edison made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ralf Osborn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ralf Osborn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Assis in the 14th minute of play. When STEEL SPORT CLUB's Amadeo Ur in 19 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ralf Osborn guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 22nd minute Amadeo Ur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Osborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Roy Chappell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralf Osborn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ralf Osborn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Assis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Bill Almond kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Roy Chappell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralf Osborn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, STEEL SPORT CLUB's Amadeo Ur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ralf Osborn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lázaro Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ralf Osborn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Withington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Rider to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Bromley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in STEEL SPORT CLUB's zone, Karl Bromley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachary Skwira came out of the goal and Karl Bromley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd minute, Lázaro Assis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STEEL SPORT CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some careless play in the Withington United defense, Lázaro Assis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralf Osborn. The Withington United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralf Osborn should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Amadeo Ur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Osborn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Osborn having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boguslaw Burdzel during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
