Spectators: 9645 (Terracing: 7000, Seating: 2495, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rhys Deacon got the match started through his kick off. After some careless play in the TROYA CF defense, Pierre Laycock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Nash. The TROYA CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Nash should have stopped the shot. Caversham were furious when Nigel Burkinshaw was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for TROYA CF. Benedykt Pilarski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Denis Ainsworth. 1-1. In the 10th minute, Rhys Deacon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When TROYA CF's Benedykt Pilarski in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Henry Nash made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rhys Deacon in the 21st minute of play. If Rhys Deacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Caversham's Rhys Deacon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Nash narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Caversham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tod Tyler to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of TROYA CF booed when Caversham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Patten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Nash showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhys Deacon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Rhys Deacon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 played minutes Caversham got a freekick which was hit by Tod Tyler.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedykt Pilarski made a kick off. Denis Ainsworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Pilarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Caversham's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Sharpe came free, but Denis Ainsworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Ingmar Snäll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhys Deacon in the 55th minute of play forced TROYA CF's goalkeeper Henry Nash to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rhys Deacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodney Pickard got free with Henry Nash in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Ainsworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spyros Vlassiadis in the 70th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Ingmar Snäll mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TROYA CF and the Caversham players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes TROYA CF got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Snäll. In the 81st minute of the match, Rodney Pickard got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henry Nash was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Denis Byfield scored 1-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henry Nash, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zak Deveraux hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
