Qiu Jing Qi charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Qiu Jing Qi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Withington United:s goal. Karl Bromley shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Tod Brazier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Seme having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Bromley came free, but Ariel Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Withington United's goalkeeper Ralf Osborn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Ely. Matthew Wall hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Withington United's Ralf Osborn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Withington United from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agnaldo Mandrak got free with Ralf Osborn in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Withington United's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Mandrak came free, but Ralf Osborn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Li Xiong dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ralf Osborn, 1-0. Withington United's Ralf Osborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Li Xiong in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Matthew Wall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Withington United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF the free kick. After 22 played minutes Withington United got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Wall. The crowd rose to their feet as ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF's Vitinho Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ralf Osborn. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Potterton during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Withington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Potterton to maneuver through the defense. Withington United's Ralf Osborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Li Xiong in the 30th minute of play. Ariel Seme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Bromley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralf Osborn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Li Xiong in the 34th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Edward Poynton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Withington United and the ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Withington United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Poynton to maneuver through the defense. ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF's Qiu Jing Qi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Withington United. 48 minutes into the match, Karl Bromley notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF's Ariel Seme. Ariel Seme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Li Xiong made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Li Xiong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ralf Osborn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Agnaldo Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ralf Osborn. Withington United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agnaldo Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 60 minutes into the game, Li Xiong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Ralf Osborn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ariel Seme came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Withington United's Karl Bromley. But to his dismay, Karl Bromley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF's Ariel Seme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. Tommy Potterton hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ralf Osborn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Li Xiong went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF's Ariel Seme got control of the ball when Tod Brazier tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Henry Ely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Bromley in the 94th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the game, ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF's Li Xiong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralf Osborn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ATHLETIC GLORY - FDFDF had won after a very even match.
